  12. First my compliments on, and thanks for, your excellent web2c/dvipsk/xdvik
  13. package. I installed all this for the first time earlier this year,
  14. and was amazed how easily it all went together. For the first time in my life
  15. I had a fully up to date and working TeX system (previously I had just used
  16. other peoples binaries/pk files etc - I am not a system's administrator,
  17. just an ordinary academic that does a lot of LaTeXing). Anyway, I've just 
  18. 5.516a) using just "sh configure; make; 
  19. make install", after noting that the INSTALL file claimed that the existing
  20. config.ps and maketexpk files would not be overwritten. Unfortunately they
  21. were, as was my psfonts.map (all of which I had changed, so that things 
  22. defaulted correctly for my new 600dpi printer, and allowed me to use the 
  23. mathtime fonts). No great problem, I can get them back off tape, but I thought
  24. I ought to report this anyway. But overall - thanks,
