Subject: (minor) problems updating dvipsk
First my compliments on, and thanks for, your excellent web2c/dvipsk/xdvik
package. I installed all this for the first time earlier this year,
and was amazed how easily it all went together. For the first time in my life
I had a fully up to date and working TeX system (previously I had just used
other peoples binaries/pk files etc - I am not a system's administrator,
just an ordinary academic that does a lot of LaTeXing). Anyway, I've just
5.516a) using just "sh configure; make;
make install", after noting that the INSTALL file claimed that the existing
config.ps and maketexpk files would not be overwritten. Unfortunately they
were, as was my psfonts.map (all of which I had changed, so that things
defaulted correctly for my new 600dpi printer, and allowed me to use the
mathtime fonts). No great problem, I can get them back off tape, but I thought
I ought to report this anyway. But overall - thanks,
Glenn Vinnicombe
